It has been a dream for myself and others to visit Niagara Falls ever since I was a child! But in my mind, the falls were in Canada, as well as I didn’t think that my parents would want to cross the border – they never have, so, I arenad that dream to the back of my mind, that is until I became an adult as well as could travel on my own, however well, last year my cousin Cassie moved to Buffalo NY with her fiance! She was born in Buffalo NY as well as wanted to be closer to her family, and as soon as she got settled, she invited myself and others to visit, as well as she mentioned going to Niagara Falls State Park because she lives only 30 minutes away from the entrance… Of course, I said yes to her invitation, as well as I flew to Buffalo NY in the middle of the Winter.
And my goodness it was cold; The afternoon I arrived, the temperature was 28 degrees, as well as they had 10 inches of snow on the ground… I live in the south, so that was just a shock experiencing that kind of weather.
Thankfully, Cassie’s house has radiant floor heating installed, which was a blessing. I don’t need radiant floors at lake home because our Winters are certainly mild, so this is the first time I have ever experienced them, as well as I must admit, I enjoyed it, and my feet always get cold in the Winter, as well as I wear socks to keep them warm. However, I was able to ditch the socks at Cassie’s home because my feet were always warm as well as toasty. She also kept her home pretty warm, as well as her smart control component with motion sensors was efficient in changing the temperature throughout her house. I barely use my heat in the Winter, but living in a city like Buffalo, I understand the need to have all these heating chances installed in a home.
