Every single year while in the middle of October, the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is held! This is an annual festival celebrating hot air balloons.

When the festival began, there were only a dozen individual hot air balloons. Last year, there were more than 600 independent balloons. The balloon fiesta is honestly one of the nicest tourist attractions in Albuquerque. It is a sizable source of income for all businesses in the Albuquerque city area!
