My wife and I were looking for a nice place for us to go while my mother watched the kids for a week. We trolled the internet for a while, looking for a place that would be beautiful to visit, but also we wanted to visit a destination where marijuana was legalized. We settled on Denver, Colorado for our getaway. As soon as we got off the plane we noticed how fresh and crisp the mountain air was. At a mile above sea level, Denver boasts some of the most beautiful views in the country. The Denver airport was beautiful and full of art. My wife and I could have just spent hours in the airport admiring all of the pieces decorating the place, but we wanted to get to our hotel and put our stuff down. After we were settled in, we decided to go check out the cannabis dispensary across from the hotel. The budtender was very knowledgeable about all of the different marijuana products. They had every cannabis product I’ve ever hear of, everything from THC edibles, pre-roll joints, and cannabis distillate cartridges for vaporizers. We decided to buy a couple of pre-roll joints of a hybrid strain that the budtender said would be good for us to try. We went back to the hotel to smoke, then we got an Uber to the Denver Botanic Gardens. The gardens were beautiful, we saw so many native plants, the Japanese Garden, waterfalls, and there was even a small acoustic concert happening.
