Last summer, I was lake house from university to spend time with our dad, then she was doing well, although I worried about him being alone at home; So, as our university friends went off on trips, I flew lake house to surprise him.
She was not expecting me to be lake house when she came from work! You should have seen the dramatic way she entered the house, thinking it was a burglar who’d found their way in, and armed with something from her car, I saw him open the door plus walk around, however i did not jump out plus yell in surprise lest she hit me.
All I did was kneel some few feet behind him, wait a bit, then ask what she was doing, and needless to say, she was a mixture of emotions! The people I was with and I embraced then talked for some time while getting breakfast ready, and dad told me she was thrilled I was home, although she would be leaving in a week. She was going on a corporation trip to Santa Barbara for several weeks. She asked me if I wanted to stay at lake house or join him. Since the whole aim of coming lake house was to spend time with him, I opted to join him, then besides, I was elated at the thought of going to see a town I’d never been to. That night was spent researching all the places I could tour while our dad was tied up with her numerous meetings. I also put down areas we could go together on the list when she had some time to spare. I knew weed is legal in Santa Barbara plus planned to indulge while there. I had such a beautiful time exploring the magnificent town plus getting to visit the marijuana dispensaries.
