The actual cost of living in San Francisco is terribly high.
It’s pretty much impossible to live in the city, unless you have the best career.
I make $100,000 a year, & I still can’t cover the cost to live in the city. I have a 2 bedroom property & a roommate. My roommate & I share the rent, utilities, water, & a car. The car is genuinely mine, however I don’t mind letting my roommate use it on occasion. The guy is altogether responsible & he is a company executive as well. Sporadically he meets with buyers all around the area & it does not look professional to show up in an Uber. The guy uses my car when he wants to make a lovely impression. The actual cost of living is up there in San Francisco, however so is the cost of everything else you see. Gas is practically $5 a gallon & all of the local prices are inflated by a good amount because of tourism. The only thing in the community that remains constant is the price of legal marijuana. San Francisco, CA has a crucial tourist population, however the price of legal marijuana is still less expensive than most arenas in the country! All of the marijuana shops near our property offer a daily special! Every morning they have 20% off merchandise in the store. Sporadically it is edibles & occasionally it is flower & concentrate. When they have the items on sale that I appreciate, I always get enough to last a little while. Even though it is fairly extravagant to live in the bay area, I make it work alright by having a roommate that is trustworthy.
