Elaine had to labor last Summer and barely got time to do a few things he had planned, but two people in his corporation had quit, and there was so much backlog which forced his to put in extra fourths, then his boss called his for a meeting 1 day and commended Elaine for the great work. However, he apologized for some complications in the office that had caused the resignation of the other members of staff, and basically, they felt unheard and exasperated at work! Elaine was thrilled with the development and also inquired about his annual leave. His boss commanded he go on leave that fall which he did. Elaine knew she’d still have so much fun in fall, and it wouldn’t be too hot; Summer had been brutal, and they constantly had the AC component working hard in the office to remain cool and comfortable. However, fall was better, and he could walk the streets in unusual parts of IL during his tour. She started in Libertyville since he felt there were so many arenas he hadn’t been to. His best friend tagged along for a day or several but had to work, so it was mostly a solo trip throughout the state; IL before the snow was magical, with all the changes taking arena in nature. It really felt calmer as things died down and life prepared for a few weeks of Wintertide before Springtime. By the time Elaine returned to work, he was rejuvenated and ready to take on another project. She had quite a few things to do, and his boss was proving to be a changed man.
