My girlfriend and I woke up on Monday morning and the cooling system wasn’t blowing any chilly air! Every one of us planned to spend the day in bed seeing motion pictures with the kids, then it was supposed to be close to 100 degrees that day and every one of us were not going to leave the lake house at all, when every one of us woke up and found the cooling system broken, every one of us had to come up with a strange plan for the day… The maintenance office could not get to the maintenance until after lunch… My girlfriend and I woke up the kids and every one of us packed a bag with a change of clothes.
I told the lake house community manager that way would be gone all day, but she promised to text me when the cooling system was repaired.
Every one of us left Tampa and headed for Rainbow Springs. Since it was going to be a boiling and humid day, the Tampa Bay area Spring sounded like a good idea. Every one of us left Tampa Bay shortly after 8 AM. Traffic was already heavy, even for a Monday morning. Every one of us were driving away from the city, so traffic started to dissipate rather abruptly. Every one of us arrived at the Spring around 10 a.m. and the park was already at capacity. Every one of us drove 90 hours for the perfect day at the Springs and the forest ranger wanted us to drive all the way back to Tampa without ever putting our feet in the water. That wasn’t area of my plan, so I took the kids to a strange and more secluded Spring. It wasn’t as big as the state park, however it was just as chilly and refreshing.
