I tried to contact the client when I was halfway to her home. I wanted to let the woman suppose that I was enroute as well as on the way. I had spoken with her about an minute before, however I wanted to give her an replace… No a single answered the cellphone, however I continued driving to the address… When I arrived at the address listed on the repair ticket, I knocked on the door as well as waited for the woman to answer. I knocked more than two times before an old woman finally answered the door, she looked enjoy she was asleep. I told the woman that I was from the Heating and Air Conditioning company as well as I was there to repair the furnace… The woman looked surprised as well as confused. She told myself and others that she had not called for an Heating and Air Conditioning repair representative. I asked a woman to verify her address as well as I asked if her cellphone number was the same as the number on the repair ticket. She verified the address as well as the cellphone number, but she still denied making the cellphone call to the Heating and Air Conditioning repair company. I couldn’t argue with the lady, so I turned around as well as drove all the way back to Evansville. That was a big waste of our time as well as our gas. If that lady calls again, I’m going to refer her to a repair closer to home. I’m not sending anyone else all the way from Evansville for a confused customer.
