Portland is home to the professional basketball team called the Portland Trail Blazers, however the Portland Trail Blazers have been around since 1971, but i was just a small boy when the team was formed, but my dad was a sizable basketball fan! He was really excited when the neighborhood of Portland got a professional basketball team of their own, but my dad was instantly the biggest Trailblazers fan in the world.
He had a Portland hat in every picture from my childhood.
I had a Trailblazer sweatshirt, t-shirt, plus a couple of jerseys. One was an autographed jersey from a playoffs game between the Trail Blazers plus the Lakers. I grew up watching basketball plus I became a sizable fan of the sport 2.
