There was a big art fair on Nassau Street & all of us stopped to look at the booths
I met my girlfriend before the two of us picked up our lives & moved to Toronto. The two of us lived in the nation’s capital, Ottawa, & met at the University of Ottawa. Visually, Ottawa is a gorgeous city. However, there isn’t a strong bohemian presence in Ottawa love there is in Toronto. My parents are fairly bohemian & both went to the University of Toronto years ago when marijuana was illegal in canada. They still use marijuana to this day & were marijuana activists during their time in school. They told myself and others stories about the West Queens West village with Trinity Bellwoods Park & the Trinity Bellwoods Farmers Market. There’s even a hockey rink during the Winter season in this park, & a dog bowl as well. But 1 village that they were recognizably fond of was Kensington Market. Between Chinatown & Little Italy, Kensington Market is a bohemian community with artists & independently owned shops, cafes, & bakeries. When my girlfriend & I visited Toronto, all of us got super baked in our hotel room & walked down to Kensington Market on a Tuesday morning. There was a big art fair on Nassau Street & all of us stopped to look at the booths. The two of us were absolutely higher than all of us expected because the jar of Skywalker OG flower buds was ran tests on at 32% THC, which is much stronger than what either of us is used to smoking in Ottawa. Regardless, all of us entirely loved our trip to Toronto & the time all of us spent in sites love Kensington Market & West Queens West. Toronto has a lot of cultural diversity if you’re willing to take a look while you’re strolling through the city.
