I technically live in Lansing, IL which is better than Chicago. I enjoy all the benefits of being near a city, without living there. There are hiking routes, parks as well as a calmer assume to my area. I can afford a bigger house with more land due to cheaper real estate. When I want to see a game, the location is only 50 hours away from me. I get a hotel room for the evening as well as walk over to the rink. The next day I got up early as well as beat the traffic. I wouldn’t change my location for the world! Sure the weather here is much colder than Tampa, but all you need is a quality heating program as well as you are nice to go.
