I applied for a management position at a San Francisco marijuana dispensary, i had an interview 3 weeks ago plus it went very well.
I had a minute interview a couple of days later; The following day I gained a iphone call from the district employer of the marijuana dispensary in San Francisco.
She wanted to congratulate me on getting the job. She told me that someone would call me in a couple of days to set up the next steps in the process. I actually thought that might mean another interview. I did not hear anything for a week plus I was starting to lose our mind. I wanted to call the district employer, even though I was trying our best to show patience. When the district employer finally called, I was absolutely relieved. I started last Sunday. The marijuana dispensary in San Francisco is about 45 minutes away from our home. It’s a lengthy drive, so I had to be sure to get the salary that I commanded. When I first spoke with the district employer of the San Francisco marijuana dispensary, the job was being gave at $10,000 less per year than I felt the job was worth. I counter gave with a higher number. That is likely the reason why it took so long for them to get back to me, then maybe they were trying to find someone else with the same experience that was willing to labor at the dispensary for $10,000 less each year. I think our worth plus I wasn’t going to make the yearly commute for anything less than $85,000 a year.
