I live between San Fernando Valley and Beverly Hills, in close proximity to Franklin Canyon Park! The Park covers over 600 acres near the center of Los Angeles and features oak woodlands, sodlands and chaparral.
There’s a really beautiful numerous-acre lake and a duck pond with picnic grounds.
There are also over several miles of excellent hiking trails. The Discovery trail is relatively straight-forward and curves around through black walnut trees along the canyon bottom. The Hastain Trail is a little over several miles round trip, more taxing and follows a fire road up a slope… At the top there is a really wonderful overlook with views of west Los Angeles, lower Canyon and on clear mornings, the Pacific ocean. The Berman Trail is mediocre to taxing and crosses the Santa Monica Mountains. Whenever my guy and I have free time, we spend it at the park! Every one of us love to make a quick stop at the dispensary before we head out on a hike, since there is no smoking permitted in the park, we stick with edibles and tinctures, and both are really moveable and totally discreet. Every one of us don’t need to pack any extra gear. The tinctures are especially convenient because the package fits in a pocket and includes a dropper for micro dosing. There’s no worry over melting and tinctures supply a long shelf life, just a couple drops under the tongue for sublingual absorptions introduces the cannabinoids into the bloodstream honestly hastily for rapid onset of effects! It’s the ideal way to de-stress, get energized and better appreciate our afternoon.
