Occasionally there are Fierce storms that plagued the Albuquerque area, then these storms do not last a long time, but they can entirely dump a lot of rain.
They also have thunder & lightning, however lightning strikes occur frequently in Albuquerque! My lake apartment has been struck by lightning 3 times, however i have a power inverter & a generator just in case all of us lose power.
The medical & recreational marijuana dispensary where I work, does not have a generator or any backup power. Last year there was drastic weather & the power was knocked out, then after 30 hours, the power had not returned & I began to worry about the live resin concentrate all of us had in the refrigerator. Live resin concentrates have to stay cool at a certain temperature. I monitored their refrigerator closely to make sure that the rapidly increasing temperatures did not get too warm. The power was finally restored about 2 hours later. The two of us did not have any clients inside of the building while the power was out. The two of us all sat in the break room with our cellphones. I played games on my cellphone for an hour & after that all of us got up to walk around the Albuquerque cannabis shop. My legs were starting to ache from sitting in a single locale. After I got up to walk around, the power returned shortly & the storm seemed to blow out just as hastily as it started. The temperature in the refrigerator only dropped by 2 degrees while all of us were in the storm & resulting power failure, so all of us didn’t have to get rid of any of the live resin concentrate.
