Stopping at dispensary in Denver

My husband and I currently live in a state where cannabis is not yet legal.

We recently bought tickets to a concert held at Red Rocks Amphitheater. Not only is this venue iconic and an amazing place to enjoy live music, but it’s located in Denver, Colorado. Recreational weed is legal in Denver. Adults 21 years of age or older are allowed to buy up to one ounce of marijuana, 8 grams of concentrate or cannabis products containing up to 800 milligrams of THC in a single transaction. We were super excited to finally be able to walk into a dispensary and shop. Although we’d looked at photos online, we were still amazed and impressed by the facility. The dispensary is very open, airy and modern. We immediately felt comfortable browsing and asking questions of the budtenders. We learned that the dispensary creates their own edibles on-site and grows their own flower locally. My husband and I had some trouble narrowing down our choices. We finally decided to buy a few edibles and a tincture, because both methods are very discreet. We couldn’t exactly light up a joint and smoke at the concert. The tincture bottle was tiny enough to conceal in a pocket and the cannabis gummies looked like ordinary candy. My husband and I spent five days in Denver, and we made four trips to the dispensary. Unfortunately, it’s not legal to transport cannabis across state lines. We weren’t able to bring any marijuana goodies home with us. We’re already looking for tickets to another concert. We had such a great time.
