Taking tinctures along on a hiking trail

I live between San Fernando Valley and Beverly Hills, in close proximity to Franklin Canyon Park.

The Park covers over 600 acres near the center of Los Angeles and features oak woodlands, grasslands and chaparral.

There’s a really beautiful three-acre lake and a duck pond with picnic grounds. There are also over five miles of excellent hiking trails. The Discovery trail is relatively easy and curves around through black walnut trees along the canyon bottom. The Hastain Trail is a little over two miles round trip, more strenuous and follows a fire road up a slope. At the top there is a really great overlook with views of west Los Angeles, lower Canyon and on clear days, the Pacific ocean. The Berman Trail is moderate to strenuous and crosses the Santa Monica Mountains. Whenever my boyfriend and I have free time, we spend it at the park. We like to make a quick stop at the dispensary before we head out on a hike. Since there is no smoking permitted in the park, we stick with edibles and tinctures. Both are easily transportable and totally discreet. We don’t need to pack any extra gear. The tinctures are especially convenient because the package fits in a pocket and includes a dropper for micro dosing. There’s no worry over melting and tinctures provide a long shelf life. Just a couple drops under the tongue for sublingual absorptions introduces the cannabinoids into the bloodstream very quickly for rapid onset of effects. It’s the ideal way to de-stress, get energized and better enjoy our day.
