My husband co-owns a small renovation company here in Evansville, Indiana. He is partnered with his friend Steve and has been doing this for about ten years now. The business is profitable and there are a lot of houses that need to be renovated in town. We have had an influx of people moving to Evansville because the city has lots to do. And because we are on the banks of the Ohio River, we have many people coming in and out of town on day trips. Anyway, lately my husband has been doing a lot of renovations and most of these houses are being gutted and put back together. He has been installing a lot of ductwork inside these houses. My husband is not an HVAC technician, but over the years, he has learned some tricks and picked up a few skills along the way. He learned how to install ductwork from his friend who owns an HVAC company in our town. So, if my husband runs into any issues, he can always call his friend for help. Anyway, a lot of new home buyers prefer to have central heating and cooling inside their homes. And I can understand why, especially with the weather being so unpredictable these days. Last year, we had a very hot Summer, and this year, the weather is already unseasonably warm, so I can only imagine the temperatures that we will be seeing this Summer. So, it’s best to have a good cooling system inside your home. Thankfully, my husband and his friends installed an HVAC system in our home a few years ago, and I am glad he did because last Summer, I was nice and comfortable in my air conditioner.
