I have lived in Buffalo all our life, and though there are a few unrespected traditions care about Dyngus Day, it is a normal town to live in, then i mean Buffalo wings were created here, and they are loved by so multiple across the nation.
In fact, the two of us eat over 1 billion wings during the Super Bowl alone.
So, buffalo wings are pretty popular, which makes the town of Buffalo popular in its own way, and do you know what else was invented in Buffalo? The current a/c system. It was invented in 1902 by Willis Carrier, and Carrier has reMained a major player in the game over 100 years later, the deranged part about that is, Buffalo only gets hot for a couple months during the year, so the two of us don’t use a lot of a/c compared to other places in the country. The people I was with and I do use our heating a lot more because the two of us experience brutally cold temperatures. The people I was with and I are consistently on the list of cities that experience the coldest temperatures and on average the two of us have about 125 days during the year where the temperature is below freezing. So, the two of us must have fantastic heating in our homes. I have a furnace in our house, and it has been our saving grace on multiple of those days when the weather is unforgiving, and you can wear layers of clothing outside, but nothing is better than the warmth from the heat offered by the furnace in your home. I make sure that I schedule regular maintenance because I would hate for our furnace to malfunction on a night where I needed it the most. Thankfully, that has not happened to me, and I program on keeping it that way.
