The customer lives in Cocoa Beach, Florida.
The customer has been using my HVAC services for several years. I installed an air conditioner for the guy a couple of years ago. Since then, that guy calls me every time he needs a tune-up performed on the heat pump or the air conditioner. When I performed the tune up last month, I gave the guy an estimate for a ductless HVAC unit for the garage. The customer told me that he was thinking about installing a window unit. I told the guy that a ductless system would work out better. Even though it’s a bit more expensive, it would last many more years than a traditional window unit. The Cocoa Beach, Florida customer thanked me for all of the information. He told me that he was going to call a couple of other places for estimates. I certainly didn’t mind. If the guy can save money, then he should call other places. I’m pretty sure I have the best prices in the city and I know that I have the best customer service in all of Cocoa, Florida. A couple of days later, the same customer called to schedule an installation date for the ductless HVAC unit. He told me that he found a cheaper price, but he didn’t care for the owner of the company. The other price was only $200 less than mine, so I agreed to match it. That news made the customer even more happy that he decided to use me instead of the other guy.
