Jack and I were invited to play in a celebrity golf tournament last weekend.
We flew to Denver to take part in the tournament.
Jack and I work for the same advertising company. The company is one of the sponsors for the tournament. Jack and I planned to play a few rounds of golf while we were in Denver, so we could practice for the torment on Sunday. We played at one of the most prestigious golf courses in the entire city of Denver. The place was so Swanky that they assigned each one of us a golf caddy. I had never used a golf caddy before. Our caddies were young men that were in college. They were fit and athletic. The young men carried our bags everywhere that we went, even when it started raining. The rain was falling slowly at first. After 10 or 15 minutes, the sky opened up and it started pouring down rain. Went to the Pro Shop to dry off while we waited for the rain to subside. I told Jack that we should grab some lunch before we finish the rest of our game. Jack wanted to smoke some marijuana before we ate lunch. The two of us went outside to the car. We sat inside and smoked a marijuana joint while it was raining and pouring out doors. By the time we were done with a marijuana joint, both of us were starving with the munchies and ready to eat a giant double cheeseburger with bacon, ranch, and onion rings.
