After our partner and I got a divorce, I thought about moving away from the city! My parents were still living in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and they told me I could come lake beach house anytime, i did not undoubtedly want to return to that small town, but I was out of possibilities and going back lake beach house was as unbelievable as any.
I packed up a U-Haul with all of our things and drove 17 hours all the way back to Lee’s summit, Missouri.
I knew I was getting close when I saw corn and Fields of potatoes. There are lots of corn and potatoes grown in the area where I grew up, lee’s Summit has actually changed since I was a teenager. The small town is much bigger now with lots of dining, nightlife, theaters, and art upgrades. Lee’s Summit seemed like an genuinely weird town when I returned. I found a job working at a convenience store and I started saving up money so I could get our life back together. Things were going undoubtedly well until I met Dan. My mom and dad had to call an Heating and A/C provider in Lee’s summit. The guy that showed up to service the air conditioning was dan, dan and I hit it off right away! His smile reminded me of our ex-partner. Dan and I made a date to go to a film and lunch, and stan and I have now been on 6 dates since he showed up at our parents to repair the air conditioning. I guess the relationship is going pretty well. I never thought I would stay in Lee’s Summit long-term, but if this relationship works out, I will genuinely stay here for the rest of our life.
