My boss called me a couple of days ago and he told me that I had to go to a photo shoot in Las vegas.
I was already scheduled to be somewhere else and I tried as best as I could to get out of the job.
It’s not as if I didn’t want to go to Las Vegas, but I had just come from that area and I was not ready to turn around and get right back on a plane. There was no one else to handle the work and my boss was insistent that I had to be the one to go. It’s hard to argue with the guy when he is offering me lots of money. I left the area where I was working on a project already and I headed over to Las vegas, nevada. I got things set up pretty quickly and I was ready to go when the photo shoot started. I had been on a plane for nine of the last 16 hours and I think it got to me. I felt myself begin to get light-headed and dizzy as soon as the big lights started to flash. I told the crew that I would need a couple of minutes. Someone brought me a joint from a marijuana dispensary in Las vegas. I smoked some of the marijuana joint and it definitely made me feel much more calm and relaxed. One of the interns brought me a bagel and a cup of coffee. I was happy about the bagel, but the coffee had to go.
