The pool heater went out and I told my husband that we should contact a heating company in Phoenix to fix it.
He told me that he would work on the problem when he had a day off work.
I reminded my husband that it was starting to get colder and the pool heater was necessary. I even gave him the name of the Phoenix heating company that installed the pool heater. I thought we could call the same place since they were familiar with our equipment. After 2 weeks of waiting for my husband to work on the heater, I finally gave up and contacted the Phoenix heating company myself. I made an appointment with one of the service contractors for a couple of days later during the week. When my husband found out that I called someone to fix the pool, he wasn’t very happy. He stayed home on the day of the repair, so he could be here to make sure that the Phoenix heating company wouldn’t gouge me on the price because I am a woman. I was aggravated and agitated with that response. When the contractor from the Phoenix heating company arrived, the kid didn’t look like he was out of high school. He didn’t even have hair on his chin. The kid looked like he had a baby face. When he told my husband that we needed to replace the pool heater and it was going to be 1,200, my husband got aggravated and told him that he was full of it. My husband wasn’t going to listen to that kid for one more minute.
