My boyfriend is honestly one of the sweetest guys in the whole world.
I called him on Saturday and I told him that I had to cancel our date because my mom was not feeling very well.
He said that he would go with me to see my mom and even offered to make chicken noodle soup. My boyfriend really likes to cook. I told him that he didn’t have to go to the trouble, but he insisted on making soup if we were going to have anything. He said that store bought soup was not going to heal her faster than his homemade soup. He made the soup at home and brought the soup and some crackers over to the house on Saturday night. My mom sat in her chair. She really liked the soup and crackers. My boyfriend and I watched some television. My mom complained about the furnace. My boyfriend said he would take a look at the furnace to see if anything was wrong. My mom told him not to go through the trouble because the furnace is broken. I never told my mom that my boyfriend works for a Glenview heating and AC repair business. We never really talked about what my boyfriend did for work. When he offered to repair the furnace, my mom didn’t even know that he worked for a Glenview heating and AC repair business. My mom hesitated for a couple of minutes, but eventually she agreed to let my boyfriend make the repairs to the furnace. There really wasn’t anything wrong with the machine, other than the fact that it hadn’t been cleaned in about 30 years.
