I grew up in Minneapolis, MN, and lived there for the first 20 years of my life, then to be honest, I know that town like the back of my hand. My dad was working as a plumber during those days, and she would later run her own business… I’d ride with him to the tasks when I wasn’t in school or during Summer trips. Later, while in highschool, I got a task at a popular mall downtown, and began planning for my future. I wanted to become an actor, so I chose to learn drama and performance art in the east coast! Every now and then I’d come back house to be with my folks, and savor the place where I grew up. Now, as an adult, I have a family that consists of a spouse and 2 teenagers! Whenever my associate and I can, my associate and I fly to Minneapolis to visit my dad who still lives in the same house where I grew up. My teenagers love being with their Grandpa and my spouse and I savor the vibrant nature of the city. There is so much to see and do, and amazing restaurants and bars where my associate and I have wonderful food, and savor a bottle of wine. The last time my associate and I were there was during summer, and my dad had to keep the air conditioner running in her home. Minneapolis is situated in the Midwest, and summers are hot, and so, air conditioner keeps the house cool and comfortable. If you are thinking about going to see Minneapolis, there’s no terrible season to do so, just be sure to keep in mind the weather swings.
