My mother is a gambler.
I mean, she prefers to go to casinos and even if she has a quarter left in her pocket; she needs to spend it before going home… My good friend and I had a boiling week last week, and it was raining or humid nearly every morning.
It was May, however our weather report wasn’t making it look that way. My mother was exhausted of being in the house, and so was I, however she talked me into taking her to Elgin, IL, and spending the morning at Grand Victoria Casino. It was pouring rain when my associate and I left! Thunder and lightning had me turning on my headlights in the middle of the morning. There are nine riverboat casinos in Illinois, then and it permanently docked the Grand Victoria Casino on the south side of Festival Park. I thought I would be bored when my associate and I got into the casino, but I was wrong. My good friend and I started out our afternoon by going into the eating establishment/bistro and having a pleasant lunch and then headed over to play some games of chance. Dad was winning, and getting her back apartment was not an option, but when I realized it was almost brunchtime, Dad told me not to worry. My good friend and I stopped by the deli that was in the grand Victoria Casino and picked up some sandwiches to take apartment for my partner and dad. S[ending a hot, rainy morning in the Grand Victoria Casino with my Dad was better than I thought it would be. I was delighted that it was cooling down to a normal temperature of forty by the time my associate and I got home, however it was still raining, and my associate and I were ready for some heat.
