The last time we were there was during summer, and my dad had to keep the air conditioning running in his home.
I grew up in Minneapolis, MN, and lived there for the first 20 years of my life. To be honest, I know that city like the back of my hand. My dad was working as a plumber during those days, and he would later run his own business. I’d ride with him to the jobs when I wasn’t in school or during summer vacations. Later, while in highschool, I got a job at a popular mall downtown, and began planning for my future. I wanted to become an actor, so I chose to study drama and performance art in the east coast. Every now and then I’d come back home to be with my folks, and enjoy the place where I grew up. Now, as an adult, I have a family that consists of a wife and 2 kids. Whenever we can, we fly to Minneapolis to visit my dad who still lives in the same house where I grew up. My kids love being with their grandpa and my wife and I enjoy the vibrant nature of the city. There is so much to see and do, and amazing restaurants and bars where we have good food, and enjoy a bottle of wine. So, air conditioning keeps the home cool and comfortable. If you are thinking about visiting Minneapolis, there’s no bad season to do so, just be sure to keep in mind the weather changes.
