Jacksonville, Florida, is a very exciting city with lots of fun activities to offer to tourists and residents.
The city has more than 20 miles of beaches and there are at least a dozen different golf courses.
Each and every year, I travel to Jacksonville during the spring so I can go to the players championship. The Players Championship is an outdoor golf event that lasts all weekend. Tickets to the event can be hard to get. Last year my friends and I went to Jacksonville, Florida, and we stayed at a posh hotel on the beach. We were only 15 minutes away from the golf course. In the morning, we got up early and we walked to the golf course or we took a car service. There was no way that I was going to park in a lot with all of those cars and trucks. In the afternoon when we left, my friends and I walked about 2 miles and then we called for a taxi or car service. On our last day of the trip, we decided to go downtown to check out a place in Jacksonville that is called the riverwalk. Jacksonville is on the banks of the St Johns River and the walk is a place where you can see views of the city and go to the restaurants and bars. We stayed downtown until it was midnight. When we got back to the hotel, it was hot and humid in our room. The air conditioner had been off for several hours. When I was leaving the room, I must have turned off the air conditioner. It took several hours before the room was cool enough to finally go to sleep.
