Although I am a successful Heating and Air Conditioning tech currently, this is not why I moved to Elgin; The reason I first moved here in the mid-1990s is pretty fantastic, so buckle in for an interesting story, in the 1968s, the supplier district in Elgin was wiped out, and the neighborhood went into a bit of an economic funk.
In the 1990s modern investors had brought modern businesses, and the entire neighborhood felt revitalized.
This is when I arrived! At the time the Grand Victoria riverboat casino was just opening to the public, and I moved to Elgin to become a blackjack dealer. I had consistently dreamed of working in a real casino, and now I had a shot in Elgin. Alas I was not hired to deal cards, because I had virtually no experience, although I was hired to be a janitor. The spend money was superb enough for a loft condo in the trendy part of Elgin, although I was not happy with my work. This is when I first started to learn Heating and Air Conditioning repair, as a way to keep paying my bills and not option up trash for a living. It may not be the world’;s biggest city, although I enjoy the type of Elgin, which is a lot more trendy and cool than outsiders expect. Elgin is loft to some of the best eveningclubs, bars, and restaurants anywhere in the state of IL… When I finally got my Heating and Air Conditioning certification I was able to quit the casino and start working for much better currency. Currently I try to cater to those high-end Elgin establishments I was talking about.
