About 10 years ago, I got offered a job to work at a commercial HVAC business in Fort Collins, Colorado.

I had a couple of friends that were living in Fort Collins, so I decided to move there.

The job turned out to be a bust. I didn’t really like the owner of the business and I thought it would be a lot easier to start a business of my own. There were several different businesses and I applied to several different positions. I got a job offer to work at a contracting company that handles all new construction. I didn’t know if it was going to be fun or anything interesting to me, but it turns out that I absolutely love working for a contracting company that only handles all new construction. I have built a solid reputation at the company and I have had multiple promotions in the past 5 years. I’m almost making six figures a year now, because I am head of sales in the area. I have about ten different employees that report directly to me and I have meetings with the owner weekly. I even qualify for bonuses every quarter. Moving to the city was one of the best decisions that I ever made and I’m glad I didn’t stay where I was unhappy.

Elgin is a beautiful city in the state of illinois.

I have been living in Elgin since 2005.

I love being able to visit all of the parks and there are lots of outdoor activities in the city. One of my favorite places to go is the Fox river. The Fox River has fishing, places to launch your boat, and other outdoor water activities like canoeing and kayaking. My wife and I went to hang out at the Fox River with some friends last saturday. The weather was very nice and the sun was shining all day. When we got home later that afternoon, we realized that the air conditioner had been off most of the day. I met a new girl last weekend when my friends and I went to the beach. The girl’s name is Jackie. Jackie and I hung out on Sunday and we hung out on Thursday too. Thursday night she asked if I wanted to spend the night at her place and I said yes. I thought I would be able to get up for work on Friday morning, but we stayed up really late and I didn’t even want to go to work the next day. I called my boss at the St. Petersburg HVAC company and I told him that I was sick. He immediately said that I did not sound sick. I told him that I had some kind of stomach flu that must have happened the previous day at lunch or dinner. I never play hooky at work and I definitely don’t miss a friday. I know it is the busiest day of the week for the heating and AC repair business. My boss believed me when I said that I was sick and he told me to feel better and that he would see me on Monday. I wasn’t sick at all and Jackie and I decided to spend all day Friday at the beach instead. Last summer I was absolutely miserable inside of the house.

Usually in Evansville, Indiana, temperatures aren’t almost 100°. Last summer it was close to there and I felt like I was roasting alive inside of my house. Temperatures were absolutely awful three or four days in a row. I was happy to hear that they have services until 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and I did not have to pay any service fees that were extra even though it was nearly 7:00 at night when I finally called.

My brother is a big time wine snob.

Anytime he can try new wines and judge them, he is down.

He makes his own wine and has a local business that he supports. Stonehaus Farms Winery is the place to go in Missouri. A lot of people wouldn’t think that MO is a big wine state, but our winery is awesome. You can get classic red, semi-sweet, dessert wines or fruit wines if that floats your boat. My brother and I make it a mission to go there at least twice a year. We do a summer and a winter event. What is really nice is that anytime someone in the family or our friend group gets married, they do it at the winery. The Fest Hall and Garden Room are gorgeous and perfect for either the big day or at least a rehearsal dinner. You know you are getting good booze when you book the event. Most of the time when we attend a wedding, it is in the summer. The Missouri winter season gets freezing cold. While the winery is indoors and has a great heating system, most brides don’t want to deal with ice, snow and a severe windchill. The summer temperatures are in the high 70s or low 80s. That is just perfect for the event. The venue has nice AC or if you want to lounge around outside, it is comfortable for everyone. Jacksonville, Florida, is a very exciting city with lots of fun activities to offer to tourists and residents.

The city has more than 20 miles of beaches and there are at least a dozen different golf courses.

Each and every year, I travel to Jacksonville during the spring so I can go to the players championship. The Players Championship is an outdoor golf event that lasts all weekend. Tickets to the event can be hard to get. Last year my friends and I went to Jacksonville, Florida, and we stayed at a posh hotel on the beach. We were only 15 minutes away from the golf course. In the morning, we got up early and we walked to the golf course or we took a car service. There was no way that I was going to park in a lot with all of those cars and trucks. In the afternoon when we left, my friends and I walked about 2 miles and then we called for a taxi or car service. On our last day of the trip, we decided to go downtown to check out a place in Jacksonville that is called the riverwalk. Jacksonville is on the banks of the St Johns River and the walk is a place where you can see views of the city and go to the restaurants and bars. We stayed downtown until it was midnight. When we got back to the hotel, it was hot and humid in our room. The air conditioner had been off for several hours. When I was leaving the room, I must have turned off the air conditioner. It took several hours before the room was cool enough to finally go to sleep.

Sometimes I envy my sibling, because he is the only person that left household and moved somewhere else, my sister and I both still live close to Mom and Dad; We never moved away from our small town and we absolutely never will.

He has room in his apartment for another person, because he broke up with his girlfriend. He said I could stay with him for free until I found a arena to work.

I haven’t had any heat in my vehicle in quite a while. I had the heater checked by a friend that works in the HVAC industry here in South Bend, Indiana. Police were trying to stop a guy who ran a red light and the car chase ended in an accident. I was stuck in traffic for 45 minutes and the batteries on the heater ran out. It was dark when I got home and the inside of the car was just as cold as it was outside.
